Dorothy passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 99. She was born to Joseph and Mary (Pasic) Lacy on July 19, 1926 in Crested Butte, Colorado. Dorothy had four siblings, Helen, Christine, Thelma and William and she had a daughter, Patricia Quilty.
Dorothy worked in sales at J.C. Penney for 25 years. She loved dancing, gardening and the color pink.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Christine, Helen (Rudy) Stydahar, Thelma (Bob) Martino and brother, William Lacy. She is survived by her daughter, Patty (Kevin) Quilty; grandchildren, Bryan (Sheila) Quilty, Megan Stephen; great grandchildren, Joel Quilty, Bethany Quilty, Blayne Quilty, Bella Quilty and Zach Stephen.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00 am with memorial mass to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N Socora St, Wichita, KS 67212. Burial will take place at a later date in Pueblo, Colorado.
