Wichita, Kansas - Edith Madge Dilsaver, 100, beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother, passed from this life on July 15, 2025. Edith was born September 4, 1924 in Taylor, Nebraska to Lisle and Lucy Holmes. She is the last surviving child of 11 children. Edith was an avid quilter and seamstress. She retired from Wesley Medical Center as a Surgical Technician.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; her daughter, Patty Stucky; her son-in-laws; Karyl Hunsinger and Mike Fuller; grandsons, Clinton Fuller and Trenton Custer; and great-granddaughter, Allison Hunsinger.
Survived by her children Karen Hunsinger, Marshall Dilsaver (Kelly), Pam Ferrier, Peggy Dilsaver-Custer, and Debra Dilsaver-Fuller; grandchildren, Charles Hunsinger (Michelle), Stephanie Davis (Brian), Whit Taylor, Dakota Dilsaver (Kelsey), Tim Pinnegar (Shelley), Jeramy Pinnegar (Carrie), Dena Klaiber, Kara Stucky (Ryan), Alisha Custer, Ashlyn Barnes (Brian), Preston Fuller (Liz), Paul Fuller (Gina); 21 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Joyce Holmes and many nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 AM on August 11, 2025 at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Hospice.
