Willis, Esther Maye, 81, loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior March 16, 2011. Esther was a member of Gospel Assembly Church and the daughter of Jess and Bertie Packard family that built the foundation for the Houston Gospel Assembly located in Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her brothers James William Packard and Jesse Albert Packard and sisters Mary Ruth Schultz and Bertie Faith Schultz. Survivors are husband of 62 years, Claude; son Van (Laurie) Willis of Derby; daughter Cherylane Willis-Adams of Wichita; grandchildren Anna Smith, Van Willis II, Christopher Willis (Megan), Sarah Willis; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association in her name (any questions on how to make a donation contact Van) or Gospel Assembly Church.
