Fr. Frank R.I.P.  I will miss our chats on the phone as he always liked to hear the latest news from home and would tell me I made his day.  He married Tom and I in 1961 in St. Lucys church in Chicago. U.S.A. I am sure he is with all his family ( all nine ) plus his Mam and Dad that he loved so much. when i was a child i thought as a child.....Fr. Cox touched my life, as an "altar boy" he helped mom and dad to guide me through my early walk with Jesus.  truly a man of God........

I had known of Fr. Cox but came to really know what a wonderful, spiritual and entertaining man he was when Msgr. Regan lived at the Priests retirement also.  He truly will be missed. God be with his family.

We are sad that you have left our world but happy that you are in a better one.  You enriched the lives of your extended family and many communities the length and breadth of Kansas.  We will miss you dearly.

We knew Father Cox for many years. In 1957, I took Catholic lessons from him. In Sept. 1959, we were the first to get married in the newly built church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Newton and he married us.  We will always remember him as he was always so kind to everyone. Fr. Cox delivered my father's (John Thomas Reid) homily at his funeral.  It was very personalized and this meant so much to me and my family.  We will always remember his sense of humor and his ability to communicate his faith in a very human way - all done in his Irish brogue that we adored.  Rest in peace Father Francis Cox.

Heaven gained a beautiful soul! We have never met a more humble priest. Fr. Cox knew no stranger and would do anything for anyone no matter what time of day or night it was. We will miss seeing the "twinkle" in his eyes as he would tell a story or two! He loved his ministry and his Irish family dearly. RIP good and faithful servant..."Thou are a priest forever".

fr.cox was our priest at OLG in newton during the 50s and 60s. my brother and I served many masses for him. he was a great mentor to our parish and a true friend to our family. que Dios te bendiga padre! ric camargo

Fr. Cox was our priest at Sacred Heart in Ark City for several years. He was a kind and soft spoken priest who showed kindness to everyone who attended mass or the poor who came to his parish door.   He was a perfect example of what Jesus would want a priest to be.  He will be missed by our family and many, many friends in this community.      Dan and Vicki Givens

We are very sorry for the passing of our uncle Fr. Frank. He will always be remembered for his boundless energy, his generosity, his devotion to his Ministery and his love for his extended family and Ireland.

The world has lost a truly good soul.  Fr. Cox was our priest in Parsons during my elementary and high school years back in the 70's.  He also did us a great honor by making the trip to Lawrence to preside over my wife and I's wedding in 1994.  He had a profound and lasting influence on all who knew him.  He was a good man and will be greatly missed.

My parents, Bob and Margie Behrens adored you.  You always treated them so well and with the utmost respect during your tenure at Sacred Heart Parish.  Thank you so much for all the comfort and support you provided them.  You touched so many others throughout your life through your kindness and compassion.  You dedicated your entire life to helping others through the most joyous and most difficult of times.  Thanks for being there during those special moments in our lives, Father Cox.

 I was very sad to hear the passing of My Uncle Fr. Frank. He will be always remembered as a wonderful Uncle by his nephews and nieces and close family. We had the pleasure of him coming home to marry us and what a wonderful job he did on the occasions. I am deeply sorry I will not be not be able to attend this funeral as I am unable to travel after My operation. A dheis Dé go raibh anam.

I was very sorry to hear of the death of my uncle Fr Frank. He was a wonderful and kind uncle and will be missed by  all his  nieces and nephews.
