I hope that your good memories of Francis will comfort you in your loss.  Francis and I worked together at the Wichita MetLife computer center in the 1970s. Although I never saw him again when I left in 1980, I can still see him in my mind and remember him fondly as a co-worker friend and gentle man.

My deepest sympathies in the passing of your loved one.  Francis was a smart, funny colleague and friend who made the world a better place for having been in it.

My condolences for your loss.  Without Francis' mentoring I would not have been able to succeed at MetLife.  We enjoyed several tourist events while he was in New Jersey.  He once indicated that he'd been to almost every art museum in NYC and I believed him.

Hertel Family...My sincere condolences to you on the passing of Francis. I remember him fondly - he was a big help to me at the beginning of my career at MetLife in Wichita. I also had the privilege of seeing him several times when he was living/working in NJ. He was a very kind man and will be missed.

Francis was one of my greatest mentors when I first started programming at MetLife. A more patient man I have never encountered.
