

age 67, of Goddard, Kansas passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Fred was born January 13, 1954 to Frank & Carol Wolfe.
Fred served in the United States Navy for four years as a Hull Maintenance Technician (HT) aboard the USS Halsey. His duties included shiplifting, welding and damage control. He was chosen as lead Firefighter on the Hilo Operations Crash and Salvage Crew. He loved sitting on the fantail of the ship and watch the sea go by. He also worked for Sante Fe Railroad as a Foreman after discharging from the Navy. He then worked for Hussman until retirement.
Fred loved music. He was a dedicated father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Carol Wolfe; wife Christine Wolfe; and brothers Thomas & Donald Wolfe.
Survivors include 4 children Chandra Wolfe, Christine Burney, Brian Wolfe, and Stephen Wolfe; 13 grandkids Kailey Ogden, Alyssa Ogden, Lauryn Ogden, Brenen Burney, Aiden Burney, Damen Burney, Deven Burney, Jalin Sykes, Destiny Randolph, Jessica O Connor, Haley Kuntz, Benjamin Wolfe, and Henry Vann Wolfe; 4 great-grandkids Indie, Asher, Azarah, Chloe Binkley and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
