Geraldine Norris

Norris, Geraldine “Gerry”, 98, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday June 1, 2017 in Wichita. Gerry was born on March 6, 1919 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Leo and Florence Hendrickson. Gerry and Bob Norris were united in marriage on May 31, 1942 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 75 wonderful years of marriage. In her early years she worked at Innes’ in Wichita. She attended Wichita University with a major in Home Economics. In her later years she worked at Wichita State University. Gerry and Bob are longtime members of East Heights United Methodist Church in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jean and Donna. Survivors include her loving husband, Bob Norris of Wichita, children, Rick (Twila) Norris of Wichita, Karen (Arden) Miller of Lawrence, KS, Ken (Cindy) Norris of Derby, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N. Wichita. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Mausoleum.
