On October 20, 1975 she married the love of her life Larry (Pete) Peterson. Together they shared their love to travel and new adventures.
Glenda was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha- Delta Beta chapter, Wichita.
One of her many accomplishments was establishing a scholarship program in remembrance of her friend Nancy Fox.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Orin and Maxine (Philapy)Hilton.
She is survived by her husband Larry "Pete" Peterson, sister Karen Sherar of Joplin, Missouri, sister-in-law Linda Kauffman of Derby, Kansas, brother-in-law Ken Peterson (Judy) of Wichita, Kansas, Niece Tammy Barnett (Jeff and great nephew Connor Barnett) of Joplin, Missouri.
A visitation for Glenda will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glenda's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1535 W Loop S, Houston, Texas 77027.
