90, retired owner of several car dealerships, passed away on February 19, 2018. Jerry was a member of Wichita Lodge 99, Midian Shrine, Scottish Rite and Quiet Birdmen. He was an avid RC builder and flyer and two time champion Hall of Fame Midget Racer. He was preceded by parents, Ted Shumaker and Glenda Shumaker; brother, Ted Shumaker and uncle, Rex Shumaker. Jerry is survived by wife of 42 years, Kathy Shumaker; sons, Kerry (Linda) Shumaker, Steve Shumaker, John (Debra) Shumaker, II; step-children, Buck (Diane) McClurg, Teresa (John) Gorby and Shelly (Barry) Meek; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 with visitation one hour prior at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N.
