Smith, Jacquelin V., 83, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sat. Oct. 15, 2016 in Wichita. Jacquelin was born the daughter of Harvey and Tessie Vowell on Feb. 6, 1933 in Trezevant, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Marjorie, Dudley, Jane, Jack, James “Jimmy”, husband, Arthur E. Smith. Survivors include her loving children, Susan (Frank) Rowell of Wichita, Lee Almon of Wichita, brothers, Joe (Carolyn) Vowell of Nashville, Bob (Mattie) Vowell of South Fulton, TN, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many close friends. Memorial services will be 2pm on Thurs. 20, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Inurnment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Rainbows United, 3223 N. Oliver Ave., Wichita.
