

James (Jim) Pepper, 76, died unexpectedly February 13, 2011. Jim invested in residential and commercial real estate in Wichita and retired in 1997 as a sales rep. for National Mfg. for 37 years. He was born November 9, 1934 in Kansas City, MO and was raised in Halstead, KS. Compassionate about his family, friends and America, Jim was a kind, generous man. His stories, advice and warmth will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Survivors include: his wife of 40 years, Diane, children; David (Peggy), Tim (Denise), Michelle (Steve) Hayes, Joni (Eber) Phelps, Chris (Dana) Pepper, and Kate Pepper (Charles Baughman), one brother, three sisters, fourteen delightful grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, February 19, 1:00 pm at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Wichita, KS. Memorials have been established with Pleasant Valley’s Memorial Fund and Habitat for Humanity. Please join the family after the Celebration service in the Fellowship Hall to continue to celebrate and remember Jim’s wonderful life.
