Hubbard, Janet (Stubby), 82, died at her home in Wichita, with her husband attending her. Janet had fought cancer for over three years. Janet was born to Jake and Edna Stubby of Lehigh, KS., one of nine children. She married Bill Rich in 1953 and three sons were born; David, Douglas and Monty. Janet was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake & Edna Stubby, two sons, David of Fort Mohava, AZ, and Monty of Wichita, sister, Lila Wasemiller; and brothers Gilmer and Earl, all of Newton. Survivors include, her husband Keith Hubbard, son Douglas and Adele of Hays, sister Helen Saylor and four brothers; Donovan and Rodney of Newton, Loren of McPherson, Jerry of Inman, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at Resthaven Mortuary on Wednesday, January 20 at 3:00 pm with visitation one hour prior.
