Ballard, Jeanette Faye Mahanke, 77, was born Aug. 5, 1938 and went to be with our Lord and Savior Sept. 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by three sisters, six brothers and her beloved son-in-law, Freddie Grubbs. She is survived by her husband, Charles Ballard, and children David (Marilyn) Nimmons, Timothy (Sonja) Nimmons, Pamela Grubbs, Mark (Lisa) Nimmons and 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Jan and Charles were married February 5, 1970. Jan retired from Plessey Midwest in 2002 after 27 years of service for that company. Jan loved to have fun traveling, gardening, fishing, bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved her family and her animals. She was a loyal and true friend and has friends she has stood by for years. Viewing is 5 to 8 Wed. Sept. 16 and funeral service is 10:00 am Thursday, Sept. 17 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
