John Irvin Hebb, 81, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born July 13, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Edward E. and Marie M. (Mussat) Hebb.
John attended Derby High School, where he graduated with the class of 1962. During high-school, he met the love of his life, Bonnie Lou Haggard, and the two were married on June 2, 1962.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Marie Hebb; his brother, Edward Hebb; along with his sister, Evelyn Hebb Wolf.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 63 years, Bonnie L. (Haggard) Hebb; his children, JoAnn (Mike) Hebb Shipman and Tandy Hebb Youel; his grandchildren, Scott Shipman, Dr. Jackie Shipman, Robert (Shannon) Youel, and Amy (Zach) Youel Sprowl.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209, with Pastor Ray Emery officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Last Supper, Wichita.
