

John made his home in Wichita, Kansas, where he lived with his beloved wife, Debi Miller. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana Posey, and her husband Roger Posey of West Virginia; his son, John Miller, and daughter-in-law Shannon Miller of California; his daughter, Victoria Miller of West Virginia ; his stepdaughter, Jessica Howard and her significant other Brian of Kansas; his brother, Greg Miller, and sister-in-law Myrtle Miller of Arkansas; as well as six cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June Miller and John B. Miller, and his late wife, Judy Miller.
John was a former sergeant who retired from the State of California, a role that reflected his strength, dedication, and commitment to serving others.
Throughout his life, he found joy in the simple and meaningful things. He had a deep love for riding his Harley, spending time with his family, and sharing his passion for music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and had a spirit that resonated with those who knew him. He also had a special love for dogs, which brought him great comfort and companionship.
Known for his contemplative nature, kind heart, and genuine soul, John had a great laugh that could light up any room. He was loving, supportive, thoughtful, and deeply devoted to his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and connection.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place, no services will be held.
