Joyce Gregg

Growing up, she loved being part of school plays. Joyce graduated from Wichita West High School in 1958. On November 8, 1958, she said "I do," to Larry R. Gregg Sr. She worked for the Insurance Services Offices (ISO) to become the 1st Fire Inspector in 1974.

Every year, Joyce enjoyed going to Toronto, Kansas for, in her opinion, the best fireworks around. She enjoyed singing, coloring, going to the movies and she always had to have her diet Dr. pepper drink filled to the rim with ice. She was "known," for returning her undercooked steak (sometimes up to 3 times) to get it just right while eating at local restaurants, and was an expert when it came to garage sales. Later in life, she enjoyed outdoor water activities including fishing.

During Christmas, Joyce enjoyed being Santa and handing out all the gifts, telling everyone they could only open one gift at a time so each of them could enjoy the gift they were receiving. She would make each of the bows, save them and reuse them again.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by Sharol C (Pivonka), Larry R. Gregg Jr., Garret W. Gregg, Kory D. Gregg, Ashton Lehman (Gregg), Breanna Jester (Gregg), Ryan Gregg, JeAnna Gregg, Sage Jester, Wyatt Jester, Winter Lehman, Silver Gregg along with her furbabies, Precious - Lamb, Suzie, Hercules and Popcorn.

The immediate family enjoyed a celebration of life ceremony on Friday, July 26th, 2024 in her memory.
