June Marie (Laughlin) Howe

June graduated from Friends University in Wichita, KS and taught K-12 in a little one room school house. She is a master puzzler, gardener, and devote Christian. She taught Sunday school at First Baptist church in Wichita, KS. Most of all, June loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

June is survived by her son Carter Franklin Howe of Canada; her brother Bruce Laughlin of Houston, TX; her grandchildren Heather Howe, Medesta Howe (Salvador Tovar), Jessica Howe, Kachina George; her great grandchildren Star-Lynn, Krishenea, Abbi, Kaci, Zyler, Zoey; her nephew Larry Laughlin of Houston, TX; her niece Linda Collins of Abilene, TX (Jeff); and her nephew Lloyd Laughlin of Houston, TX (Lisa).

June was preceded in death by her father Carter Leroy Laughlin and her mother Oddie Cunningham-Laughlin; her sister JoAnn McPurdy; her grandchild Kera Protheroe.

A visitation for June will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, WICHITA, KS 67206, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
