

Suzi was born on March 24th, 1945, in Wichita, KS, where she spent her formative years. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree at Friends University, worked in several different social service roles and later worked for her beloved brother, Jon Kardatzke, at the Museum of World Treasures. Suzi also was a leader in her church singles group, Positive Christian Singles. Later, she even started her own singles organization, Singles Quest. Throughout her participation in these organizations, she was known for drawing many people to Christ, as well as being responsible for bringing over 30 couples together during that time.
But more than anything, Suzi was a devoted and caring mother. She loved spending time with her children, sharing stories, playing games, and planning meals. In addition, Suzi loved her boyfriend, Larry Lewis, who held a special place in her life and heart. They played pool together and attended a lot of local dances. Suzi was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges she faced. She was the ultimate cheerleader for others.
Suzi was always eager to share her love of knowledge and enthusiasm with others. She was an active member of her community, volunteering for various causes and organizations.
Suzi is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Vera Kardatzke, as well as her brothers, Jon and Stan Kardatzke.
Suzi is survived by her loving boyfriend, Larry Lewis; her children, Ryan Henry (Amber), Kristin Walden and Tara Henry; and her grandson, Jacob Moeder (Jordan). Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, immediately followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Family Estates.
