75, loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away January 1, 2018. Karen retired after 25 years as a school bus driver and instructor for Durham School Services and was a longtime member of Jehovah’s Witnesses North East Congregation. Karen was a quick witted, funny lady who enjoyed crocheting and attending jazz concerts. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by husband of 41 years, Maurice King; parents, Leonard and Vivian Nichols; brothers, Jack and Bobby Nichols; and grandchildren, Brianna and Melanie King. Karen is survived by sons, Matthew (Jen) King, Eric (Nikki) King, Keithen King and Brian (Heather) King; daughters, Sonia Chairs and Nicole King; brother, Michael Nichols; sisters, Janice Betha, Shirley Garcia, and Ramona Ankerholz; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, January 7th. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2018; both services to be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Hwy. 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
