Abbott, Kenneth R., 90, retired sheet metal worker for Beech Aircraft, passed away December 9, 2013. Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II in Guinea, Luzon and the Philippines. Survivors: son, Keith Abbott of Wichita, Kansas; step-sons, Tom Sawyer of Wichita, Kansas, Marvin Sawyer of South Carolina, Michael Sawyer of Halstead, Kansas, Charles Sawyer of Wichita, Kansas; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Visitation: 1- 3 p.m. Thursday, December 12; Service: 1 p.m. Friday, December 13, all at Hillside Funeral Home East, 935 N Hillside.
