Kenny and his twin brother, Kermit, along with a sister, grew up on the family farm just south of Conway Springs, Kansas. He graduated from Conway Springs High School in 1953. Immediately following graduation, he joined the Army, and was stationed in Alaska. In 1977 Kenny met Jean through their daughters, who were best friends and lived just a block and a half away from each other in west Wichita. Kenny and Jean dated about two years and were married on July 5, 1980 and they joined their two families into one. Today, they have six grandchildren. Kenny worked in manufacturing and retired from Vulcan on June 1, 1995. Even before retiring, Kenny and his wife worked a part-time janitorial job at a local print store for 30 years. They loved to travel with Kenny's siblings and spouses. Some of their favorite places were India, Italy, Switzerland and Scotland. They even took a train trip across Canada. Kenny's pride and joy was his yard and tomato plants. For many years, he sold plants from his garage that he grew from seeds. He loves woodworking, as well. Kenny proudly received an award from the Red Cross for donating 50 gallons of blood. He followed through with donating blood every three months for many years.

Kenny was born in Conway Springs, Kansas 87 years ago to Howard and Martha McGregor. After working on the family farm, and serving in the US Army, he worked most of his adult life at Vulcan Chemicals, where he was known as “Mac”, retiring in 1995. He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church until he moved to Dove Estates, Goddard, Kansas. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, giving blood, wood working, collecting and gardening.

Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Jean (Rohling), daughter Lori (Scott) Hampel, son Gary, daughter Susan (Steve) Talbot, son Steve (LoriJo) Stuckey, son Shawn (Julie) Stuckey, 6 grandchildren, Shelbie, Skyler, Jack and Kate Stuckey, and Joram and Alena Talbot, twin brother Kermit (Barbara) and sister Marlene (Ted) Pendleton.

Rosary 9:30 am Wednesday August 10, 2022, followed by Funeral Mass 10:00 am St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS.
