Born on August 16, 1929, in Danville, KS to George and Sarah (McCorgary) Smithhisler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah Smithhisler, her husband of 50 years, Donald M. Fitch, son-in-law, Richard Ford, Sisters; Catherine Kretchmar, Christina Kelley, Eleanor Brockelman, Brothers; George, Martin, Dan and Bernie Smithhisler and Raymond McCorgary.
She is survived by her children; Elaine (Tony) McCabe, Donald Fitch (Thresia Hays), Steven (Beverly) Fitch and Tom (Gracie) Fitch.
Eight Grandchildren; Jim and Tom Ford, Gina (David) Snider, David Fitch, Danny Fitch, Cody Fitch, Niki Fitch, and Steven Fitch.
Eight Great Grandchildren; Bailee & Bryce Ford, Isaac, Isabella and Owen Snider, Sawyer and Saylor Fitch and Thomas Fitch.
And many cousins and nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home, in the Mausoleum, 12100 E 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206 on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 10:00 am.
