

Linda Jean Morphis McNeill, 72, passed away surrounded by family peacefully in her home on July 4, 2025. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 6, 1952. Linda lived her life with a sassy spirit, a sharp sense of humor and an unshakeable stubborn streak. She had the most beautiful, welcoming smile that could light up any room and she was known for her strong work ethic-never one to back down from a challenge or shy away from helping others. Above all, she loved BIG-her family, her friends, and her beloved fur babies. Linda had many hobbies that brought her joy and showcased her creative, caring nature. She loved crocheting, quilting, embroidery, diamond art, and reading. She spent time studying her Bible, finding comfort and strength in her faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Jeri Morphis and her husband, Jim McNeill.
Linda was survived by her brother; Bill Morphis; her children: Elisha (Hank) Conley, Shannon (Aaron) Harrod and Troy Icenhour; her step-children: Sabrina (Ward Dietz) McNeill, Jacqueline (James) Craig, Patrick (Jamie) McNeill and Heather (Jon) Robinson. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and leaves behind her 4 beloved dachshunds.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service for Linda will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209 followed by a graveside service.
