

Bedinger, Lorain Robinson, a long time resident of Wichita, died November 24, 2013, services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 4th at Kansas Masonic Home. A reception will be held at Fellowship Hall, which is adjacent to Kansas Masonic Home Chapel immediately following the memorial service. She was born October 7, 1917, the daughter of B.T. & Odessa Robinson in Murdock, KS. After graduating from Kingman High School, she attended Business College in Wichita and then was a secretary with Ponca Tent & Awning. In 1939 she moved to Glendale, CA and during World War II was employed as a bookkeeper at General Heater Corp. After the war she married John J. Bedinger and they lived in Wichita. They had been married 58 years when he died in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her brother Eugene Robinson; sister, Eleanor Walker; Nephews, Steve Walker & Bob Robinson & great nephew, Simon Cvetkovich. She is survived by her son, Jim (Alice) Bedinger of Piedmont, CA; Grandchildren, David Bedinger of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Rob (Liz) Bedinger of Daphne, AL, Suzanne (Mike) Healy of Alamo, CA, Jay Bedinger of Portland, OR, Angelina (Marcello) Lalau of Torrance, CA, Staci Cutteridge of Piedmont, CA and several nieces & nephews. She was retired from Duo-Bed Corporation, previously she worked as an accountant for Sierra Petroleum Corp, and also for many years she and her husband were managers of real estate property. She was an active member of Westside Christian Church since 1949 and was a supporter of AL-ANON Family Groups for many years.
