Lyle K. Knuppel, 71, passed away on October 11, 2017. Lyle was born to Paul and Sarah Knuppel in Easton, Illinois. He served in the United States Air Force and stationed at McConnell. Sandy (Unrein) and Lyle were married in 1969 in Wichita. Lyle retired from Via Christi in 2015 where he was a Radiology Technician for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, daughters Shannon (Neil) Bhargava, Shelley (Aaron) Black, grandchildren Brendan, Lauren, Gavin and Haylie, siblings Dick, Bill, Jane, John, Tom and mother-in-law Alice Unrein. Rosary will be Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 5pm; Funeral Mass will be Monday, October 16 at 10am, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Memorials in Lyle's name can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
