Raised and educated in Oklahoma, Mable began her working life at Cudahy Packing where she stayed for 14 years before making the move to the aircraft industry spending 9 years at Cessna and another 9 at Beech/Raytheon as well. Not only did she carry those tenures, but was also a working member of Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church where she held the titles of: church clerk, teacher, song leader, ladies auxiliary, janitor, recorded membership roll, as well as coordinated and attended special events there since 1954.
Preceded by her loving husband, Donald Bucy; her parents; and brother, George Foster, those left to cherish her memory are her children: Davonna Willits, Dan and Diane Bucy, Anita and Max Marshall, all of Wichita, Kansas; and Lita and Blair Balden of Portage, Michigan; 14 grandchildren: Tammy (Todd), Timothy (Leslie), Titus (Jennifer), Nathan (Mandy), Sara (Daniel), Shane (Nicole), David (Tiffany), Max Jr. (Janelle), Lanita, Leanna, Benjamin (Lacey), Christopher (Jessica), Dan, and Dana; 36 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be led by Pastor Mitch Andrla at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church, 6161 S. Meridian Ave., Wichita, Kansas, on November 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM, followed by a committal service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209 in the Garden of The Lord's Prayer, Lot 137-A | Space 2.
