Margaret F. Turner-Burch

Margaret F. Turner-Burch, 90, passed away October 29th under the care of Good Shepherd Hospice in Wichita, Kasnas. Margaret was born July 23, 1925 in Wichita,Kansas and was preceded in death by her parents, John Egan and Bridget (Healy) Egan of Irish descent; 4 brothers, Philip Egan, John Egan, Maurice Egan, Thomas Egan; 2 sisters, Marie Graves and Eileen Karcher. She was the youngest child in her family. Her 1st husband of 52 years of marriage, Horace L. "Bob" Turner, also preceded her in death in 1998. Margaret also suffered the loss of her son, Dennis M. Turner in 1990; son-in-law, Dennis B. Bonar in 2006; daughter, Trish L. Bajaj and son-in-law Dr. Ashok K. Bajaj in 2008. She is survived by her 2nd husband, Robert L. Burch; twin daughters, Kathy M. Franks (and husband, Dan Franks), Karen A. Crumm, both of Wichita, KS and daughter, Colleen Bonar from Alexandria, VA. Margaret is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her great joy was being Irish and proud of it. Margaret was an active volunteer for Victory-In-The-Valley for more than a decade and performed other volunteer services at St. Francis Hospital and The Lord's Diner assisting others at every opportunity after raising her own family of five children. She also enjoyed many years of sunshine, recreation and social activites during the winter months in Mesa, AZ with both of her husbands. Visitation will be Monday 1 to 5 p.m, with the family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m., at DeVorss Flanagan Hunt Mortuary. A Rosary will be held Monday 6:00 p.m., and Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30 a.m., both at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery immediatley following. After burial, the church has organized a dinner at St. Jude Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either of the two below; Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E.
