Maria Refugio “Cuca” Mendoza, age 92, passed away April 8, 2020, born March 8, 1928 to Julian and Luz Lopez. Cuca was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Charles W. Mendoza; daughters, Patricia Solis and Victoria Mendoza; son, Charles Mendoza; siblings, Salome Lopez, Theodora Palacio, Victoria Orsbon, Esther Addison, Irene Arellano, and Jesse Lopez; granddaughter, Ginger; and great grandson, Zachery; She is survived by her brother, Julian Lopez; sisters, Maria Elena "Lena" Flores and Dolores Kennard; Mac Orsbon; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A come and go viewing will be available from 9am-5pm, Tuesday, April 14th, and 9am-1pm, Wednesday, April 15th, at Resthaven Mortuary. A Memorial Mass to be held for Cuca at a later date.
