Hopper, Maridee, 57, Nurse Practitioner, passed away March 23, 2013, at home surrounded by loving family. Survivors, husband, Jim; daughters, Meghan and Mackenzie; mother, Dorothy; brother, Dar and his wife Sandy; niece, Julie; nephew, Jeff. She was preceded in death by her father Darwin Asper, Sr. Mari will be missed dearly by her many family, friends, coworkers and many, many patients in Wichita, as well as Memphis Tennessee where she lived and worked as a Nurse Practitioner and Respiratory Therapist for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, caregiver and copilot. Mari was a fantastic role model for anyone fortunate to have met her. A celebration of Mari’s life will be held at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd at 10:00 am, Saturday April 13th. Komenmidks.org in lieu of flowers.
