Paschal, Marjorie L. August 24, 1925 - October 4, 2021. Retired bookkeeper and mother of four. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Paschal, D.D.S. (October 7, 1925-August 11, 2017); her parents, Will and Bertha Green; her brothers Bill Green, Homer Green and Joe Green, and her sisters Doris Snyder and Eloise Burchett. Marjorie is survived by her two daughters Nancy (Jerry) Thomas and Jan Paschal (Jack Fitzgibbon), and her two sons Alan(Julie)Paschal and Ron Paschal; her granddaughters Brittany Paschal; Ashley Paschal Gilbert (Austin Gilbert); Erica Paschal (Mike Fredenburg), Lauren Wolfe (Jake Wolfe) and Taylor Paschal Kanaly (Nick Kanaly) and three great-granddaughters, Delanie and Callan Gilbert, and Natalie Fredenburg. Marjorie was born on the family farm near Lucas, Kansas, growing up and attending country schools in the area. She enjoyed school and 4-H activities. She married her high school sweetheart, William, when he returned from the war. They were married 72 years. After attending college and dental school as a team, they ultimately established a thriving dental practice in Wichita, Kansas, in 1965. Marjorie enjoyed several hobbies, including gardening, sewing, photography and the computer. She was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and to the day she passed, she could recite in great detail the activities and accomplishments of each which she did publicly at every opportunity. Marjorie was a life member of the Hoisington United Methodist Church, active in the nursery and on the Board. Marjorie was a life member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War, serving as the adjutant for nearly two decades. She was also a proud member of a motorcycle group, the Retreads. The life we celebrate here is one of Faith, Grace and Collaboration. Funeral services will be held be held 1pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Resthaven Mortuary with visitation one hour prior. Memorial donations may be made to the Kansas Food Bank and Good Shepherd Hospice of Wichita.
