Martin W Hellar Jr., passed away on July 22, 2013. He was born November 23, 1922 in Woodward, OK to Martin Sr. and Dorothy (Raynor) Hellar. In 1941 he graduated from East High School and then received an electrical engineering degree from MIT. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Martin enjoyed being the owner of the Hi Lift Marina for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58years, Mary Jane (Derck) Hellar, his younger brother James Hellar, and sister Ruth Anne Hellar Clarkson. Survived by sister, Dorothy (Clair) Hellar Crandall, his beloved dog Levi, many nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11:00a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Maple Grove Cemetery.
