Mary K. Blick

Mary K. Blick, 87, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. Mary was born and raised in Colwich, Kansas and raised her family in Hutchinson, Kansas. Along with being a homemaker, Mary also was a bookkeeper for Blick Sales Co. Preceded in death by her loving husband Richard, parents John and Cathryn Suellentrop, brothers Fr. Daniel Suellentrop, Clem Suellentrop, Bob Suellentrop, sisters Helen Suellentrop and Joan Medill.

Survived by her children Vivian (David) Sooter, Kathy (Dr. Larry) McNeil, Dr. David (Sarah) Blick, Gerry (Kristy) Blick, Emily (Rand) Hanna, Nancy (Mike) Strawn, Fr. Ned Blick, brother John (Marigene) Suellentrop, sisters-in-law Joyce Suellentrop, Katie Suellentrop, Wally Blick, brother-in-law Tom Medill, 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mary was active in the Altar Society, Sierra Club, volunteer with Birth Right and enjoyed Bridge Club.

Rosary Recitation, 7pm, Thurs. Oct. 23, Mass of Christian Burial, 10am, Fri. Oct. 24 both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School or Drexel Fund-Our Lady of Guadalupe So. Hutchinson.
