Sister Mary Joseph Mies ASC, former Cook, Housekeeper for the Bishop’s Residence, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, former Pastoral Associate, St. Francis Parish, Oklahoma City, OK, born November 13, 1927, entered eternal rest October 29, 2013. She received her First Profession July 1, 1944.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Rosa (Bergkamp) Mies, brothers Alphonse, James and Alfred; sisters Louise, Lorrine and Mary Ann. Survived by sisters and brother-in-law: Sister Rosina Mies, ASC, Wichita, KS, Florence (Moraan) Barlow, Bartlesville, OK, Bernetta (Gene) Carroll, Andale, KS and Theresa Burks, Colwich, KS; brothers and sister-in-law: Ralph (Lorene) Mies Shawnee Mission, KS and Raymond (Kathy) Mies, Andale, KS; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, Sisters of the ASC Community.
