Zinn, Melba D., 84, of Andover, Kansas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday March 21, 2017 in Wichita. Melba was born the daughter of James and Ruth Van Ausdall on November 15, 1932 in Ashland, Kansas. Melba and Keith Zinn were united in marriage on June 1, 1952 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. Melba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Melba enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, James “Val” Van Ausdall. Survivors include her loving children, Byron (Margaret) Zinn of Spicewood, TX, Terri (Doug) Phillips of Andover, Todd (Krysia) Zinn of Conroe, TX and sister, Kaye Moutray of Wichita, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 1831 E. 21st St., Andover. Burial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
