

Morris enjoyed fishing, watching football and basketball, car racing and old movies. In addition, he liked vacationing in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and South Texas. Morris was employed at Beechcraft and retired in 1998 after 33 years. His favorite department was the Flight Line Department. He was a member of the Northeast Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wichita, Kansas.
Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Echo Johnson; brother, Keith Johnson; and brother, Curtis Johnson.
Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Johnson; daughter, Kimberly (David) Van Overberg of Woodward, Oklahoma; daughter, Stacy (David) Sasson of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Krystal (Kevin) Zimmerman of Plains, Kansas, Jayme (Brandon) Moser of Woodward, Oklahoma, Rachel Sasson and Ethan Sasson of Wichita, Kansas; as well as great-grandchildren, Drezden, Jayden and Calvin.
A memorial service for Morris will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6007 E. 29th Street N, Wichita, Kansas 67220 at 11:00AM, June 17th, 2023.
