

21, United States Marine, passed away serving his country August 5, 2017. Born to Kathy "Kat" and Kerry Ordway February 8, 1996 in Wichita, KS. Nathan graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 2014 during which time he was an ROTC member. After graduation, Nathan followed his calling and enlisted in the Marines. While serving he received the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He loved riding motorcycles, was a black belt in Taekwondo, and enjoyed building things with his hands. Nathan was a gentle, kind and caring man who will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Nathaniel was preceded by grandparents, Frank and Susan Ordway; and uncle, Mike Ordway. He is survived by parents, Kathy and Kerry; sisters, Taylor Ordway and Michelle (Shelby) Dreiling; grandparents, Richard and Valeria Reed; aunts and uncles, Patrick (Ginny Walton) Reed, Chris (Renee) Reed, Tracy (Jenny) Ordway, Robin Sleeper, Bruce (Bev) Ordway, Marie Lackey, Alan Ordway and Gina Ordway; nephew, Gabe Dreiling; Godmother, Louise Rohlman; and numerous cousins and friends we call family. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita, KS. 67209.
