She was born September 6, 1933, in Wichita, Kansas, to Bert and Ruth Evans. Paddy married John Belt on July 15, 1950. She was a homemaker until her children were grown. She then became a secretary at Riverlawn Christian Church, where she worked for 16 years, and was a devoted member since 1964. Paddy was a faithful servant who taught kindergarten Sunday School for 40 years and during her retirement was the church librarian.
Paddy is preceded in death by: her loving husband of 65 years, John Belt; her parents; sister, Marlene Church; and brother, Edward Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory are: daughters, Kathy Ray (Mark Bishop), Debbie (Brad) Voran, and Sandi (Mike) Major: as well as grandchildren: Adrienne (Kevin) Carey, Stacie (Jason) Watts, Aaron (Melanie) Ray, Zach (Jessica) Jeffery, Trista (Bradley) Jensen, Erica Jeffery, Ashley Gibson, Austin Major, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian Ave., Wichita, Kansas, 67204.
