Peggy L. Gordon

She married her high school sweetheart, Philip Gordon on June 2nd, 1955 in Stillwater, OK. They soon moved to Wichita, KS and made their home raising three children. Peggy was a bookkeeper for the family business and the Pancake House. She and Phil owned two NAPA Auto Parts stores and South Broadway Auto Sales.

Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always hosted the best “Tea Parties” and family gatherings.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; son and daughter in-law, Steven and Wendy Gordon; son in-law, Tracy Rowe.

Survived by her daughters: Catherine (Bruce) Sanderson of Wichita, KS and Kristi Rowe of Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren: Abby (Lance) Shurtz of Caddo Mills, TX, Ali (Austin) McKeown of Wichita, KS, Tressa (Matt) Roderick of Mulvane, KS, Haley (Armand Frugé) Gordon of Camarillo, CA, Casey (Chris) Swartz of Girard, KS, Bryce (Ashley) Rowe of Raymore, MO, Ty (Alexis) Rowe of Webb City, MO and Cody (Gracie) Rowe of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jonah, Andre, Cait, Xavier, Collins, Alivia, Cooper, Asher, Laney, Laine, Arlo, and Dottie; sister; Patricia Sutton; sister in-law, Carol (Dave) Scott of Springfield, MO; nieces & nephews.

A Graveside Service for Peggy will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E 13Th St N, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
