Philip H. Gordon

Phil was born December 11th, 1934 to Catherine “Virginia” (Herron) and Leon “Pete” Gordon in National City, CA. He married Peggy Lou Lester on June 2nd, 1955 in Stillwater, OK. They had 3 children and made their home in Wichita, KS as owners of two NAPA Auto Parts stores and South Broadway Auto Sales.

Preceded in death by his parents; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Wendy Gordon; and son-in-law, Tracy Rowe.

Survived by his wife of 68 years, Peggy Gordon; daughters: Catherine (Bruce) Sanderson of Wichita, KS and Kristi Rowe of Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren: Abby (Lance) Shurtz of Caddo Mills, TX, Ali (Austin) McKeown of Wichita, KS, Tressa (Matt) Roderick of Mulvane, KS, Haley Gordon of Satellite Beach, FL, Casey (Chris) Swartz of Girard, KS, Bryce (Ashley) Rowe of Raymore, MO, Ty (Alexis) Rowe of Webb City, MO and Cody (Gracie) Rowe of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jonah, Andre, Cait, Xavier, Collins, Alivia, Cooper, Asher and two on the way; and sister, Carol (Dave) Scott of Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
