Carson, Rebecca S. “Becky”, 71, passed away Nov. 29th, 2013. Becky was a member and Sunday school teacher at Riverside Christian Church, member of Alpha Delta Kappa’s International Honorary Organization for Educators, member of Beta Sigma Thi’s local Preceptor Alpha Phi Chapter, Masters Degree recipient at Kansas State Teachers’ College in Emporia, Wichita Public School Teacher for 33 years, and a lector and instructor at WSU. She is preceded in death by parents, Birchel and Dorothy Carson, and brother, Birchel L. Carson. She is survived by sisters, Candace (Eddie) Scott of Lowell, Arkansas, and Colleen Carson of Wichita, Kansas; nephews, Benjamin (Tara), Christopher (Dorothy), and Mitchell; and 4 grand-nieces and 2 grand-nephews. Viewing Friday, Dec. 6th, from 5-7 pm and Sat. 10-11 am with funeral service following at Riverside Christian Church 1001 Litchfield Ave. Memorials may be made to Rivercross Hospice 10333 E. 21st St. N.
