Richard "Rick" D. Daney, 64, loving husband, father and brother, ended his cancer journey with family at his side on November 26, 2014. Rick was a member of the Choctaw tribe, as well as a Vietnam veteran decorated with a bronze star, and former owner of Arrow Automotive and recently retired from Eurotech Saab. Rick enjoyed the outdoors and as a hunter traveled to western Kansas each pheasant season. He was welcomed into heaven by his mom Vada Daney. Rick is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years, Carol (Hume) Daney, and his two children Aaron (Jennifer) Daney and Kelly (Chad) Arrowsmith as well as two brothers Michael of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Dale of Lawrence, Kansas; and sister Linda of Wichita.
