Richard M. Warren was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 16, 1941. On April 19, 2026, he relocated to his permanent resting place, Heaven.
He was raised and spent most of his life in Wichita where he graduated from West High School. He owned and operated a drycleaning business in Haysville, Kansas, where he met his bride-to-be, Marjorie, and they enjoyed 35 wonderful years together.
His passion was singing and he was an accomplished singer with the local gospel/country band, The Ark Valley Boys, where he sang bass and was known as “Low-Note Dick Warren” for about 15 years.
He moved to Enola, Arkansas where he and Marj carved out a little piece of paradise on 10 acres where they resided for 30 years.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; parents, R.C. and Alma Warren; sisters, Dixie-Lee, Kennedy, Mary Jo Spielman and son, Richard M. Warren II. He is survived by his son, Richard C. Warren II (Jenny); stepdaughters, Gaylene Massey (Mark), Sandra; stepsons, Michael and Mark; grandchildren, Reagan, Bailey, Jordan and Prescott; many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
