Robert was employed with BeechCraft for 42 years, where he worked as a machinist.
Robert was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching the Wichita State Shockers where he spent many evenings on campus watching the games.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Clyde and Catherine Kraus; his twin-brother, Bill Kraus; his son, Scott Robert Kraus; his daughter, Darla Diane Kraus; along with his nephew, Steven Coffey.
He is survived by: his son, Ron (Shelby) Kraus; his granddaughters, Emma Matae Kraus and Brook Lynn Blew; his grandson, Logan Wayne Kraus; his sister, Debbie (Rahl) Williams; his former wife & friend, Darlene Kraus; and his niece, Heather Shaw.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM ~ 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025; Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: American Red Cross, 707 North Main Street, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
