Robert B. Lavoie

Lavoie, Robert “Bob”, 73, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully on the 13th of August, 2015. Bob was born on the 11th of February, 1942 in Haverhill, Massachusetts the son of Alfred and Juliette (Lajoie) Lavoie. Robert and Sondra (Richter) Lavoie were united in marriage on March 17, 1962 in Panama City, FL. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage before her passing in 2008. Robert retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Jean. Survivors include his loving children, Suzette Louise Lavoie of Stillwater, OK, Cathryn Louise Fosmire of Stillwater, OK, Carolyn Louise (David) Leon of Wichita, fiancé, Barbara Rutter of Wichita, grandchildren, Tiffany Louise (Ryan) Clayton of Las Vegas, NV, Kristina Louise (Brett) Leon of Wichita, Ryan Matthew Anderson, Stephanie Louise Fosmire both of Stillwater, OK, great-grandchildren, Isabelle McKown, Robin Clayton due in Dec. 2015. Memorial services for Robert will be held at 2pm on Tues. Aug. 18, 2015 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, Kansas. Dignity Celebrant Cyndi Pearce will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Mausoleum, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials will be established in his name and loving memory with the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
