Reed, Michael “Mike”, 66, electronic buyer, avid golfer, and South High and Wichita State Alumni where he competed in gymnastics and baseball, passed away on October 12, 2014. He is preceded in death by father Roy Reed. He is survived by wife Des Reed; mother Faye Reed of Wichita; daughter Christi Thomas of Olathe; brother Gene (Chris) Reed of Wichita; uncle Sidney Tuggle of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandson Landon Thomas; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquanis Church. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
