She was born June 20, 1927 in Belle Plaine, the daughter of Julius “Lou” and Ettie (Shipman) Eckert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jessie Lawrence and Katherina Lennen; and husband, Marvin Bishop. She is survived by daughter, Marva (Rickie) Low; sister, Julia Pray; grandson, Matthew (Karina) Low; great grandchildren, Hadia and Caleb Low.
Graveside Memorial Service 10am, Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Belle Plaine Cemetery.
