Shauna Waters

July 14th 1973 - November 29th 2024 Wichita, KS

Our Dearest Shauna passed away from a lengthy illness on Friday November 29th 2024. Shauna is at peace now and will be missed by her family and so many friends.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa through Junior High and lived in Houston, Texas through High School, and then moved to Dallas, Texas. She attended the University of North Texas on a tennis scholarship. She graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She moved to Wichita, Kansas in 2016 to be closer to her family. Shauna enjoyed reading and loved to play tennis, pickleball, and golf. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends.

Shauna is survived by Mother Sandra Oliphant (Wichita, KS) and Brother, Keith Born (Mount Hope, KS).

Stepsisters: Jackie Hartnett (Waverly, IA); Aunt Joy Lee Moffit (Council Bluffs, IA) and numerous cousins.

Shauna was preceded in death by her father, Rogers T. Waters; Stepfather, Robert Oliphant; Grandparents, John and Grace Bredengerd; Grandparents, Charles and Elsie Waters; Stepsisters, Marianne Thoendel, Michelle McLaughlin, and Karen Hartnett.

Shauna chose to be cremated, and her ashes will be entombed at Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita, KS.
