Sherry A. Bonewitz

Sherry A. Bonewitz, born to parents Buck and Rosa Larkin on February 23, 1945 in Wichita, KS. Sherry passed away on August 15, 2018 at age 73. She was a master Wilton cake decorator, loved to sew, crochet, oil paint, flower garden and anything related to arts and crafts. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday and she collected Christmas décor all year round. Sherry also loved party planning and was always the life of the party. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Bonewitz; parents and sister, Sandra K. Hamilton. Sherry is survived by son, Brian Bonewitz; daughter, Debbie (Michelle) Bonewitz; beloved dog, Coco and special friends, Kathleen Warfield, Julie Williams, Linda Doughty and Sheldon Willey. Visitation will be held at 2-4 pm on Sunday, August 19. Funeral service is 10 am Monday, August 20, 2018, both at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Kansas Humane Society.
