Tammy Lynn Griffitt, 55, a beloved mother passed away June 7, 2024 after a life long battle with chronic pain. Her compassion along with her patented laugh left a life long impression on those around her. Tammy had a profound love of animals, adopting animals anytime the opportunity presented itself. She was best known for her bubbly personality and ability to persevere in the face of adversity. Once again, Tammy is side by side with her loving husband of 26 years, Michael who passed in September of ‘23 and her mother Donna who passed in ‘20.
Tammy was a foundational piece in the Griffitt family as she spent decades as a devout mother. Born in Delaware, her childhood was filled with turbulence as her military family moved from state to state. After growing roots in Kansas, worked as an expediter at Cessna where she met her soon to be husband. For better or for worse, she rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs every Sunday alongside her family. She is survived by her two sons, Austin and Jordan; Sister, Cheryl Adkins; Dogs Duke, Ruby and Amelia
