Ted King

King, Ted D., 81, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday September 7, 2018 in Wichita. Ted was born the son of Brown and Betty King on February 28, 1937 in Wichita. Ted and Ruth King were united in marriage on August 30, 1957 in Leon, Kansas. Ted loved working on and showing Classic Street Rods. Ted retired from Texaco Refinery in El Dorado, KS after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife; Ruth King, children; Cindy (Rob) Roth of Green, KS, Steve (Stephanie) King of Wichita, brother; Tom King of Rocky Mount, MO, grandchildren; Abigail Roth of Wichita, Melissa (Chad) Haden of Green, KS, Matthew (Lisa) King, Rebecca King both of Wichita. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1550 N. Chapel Hill St., Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or Towanda United Methodist Church.
